An Grianan Ailiagh

An Grianan Ailigh is a mysterious circular stone structure which dates back to 1700BC. The ring fort sits 750 feet above sea level and the views of the surrounding countryside are outstanding. The road that leads to Grianan Ailigh can be accessed at Burt on the main Letterkenny to Derry road. Viewing had been restricted recently because of major renovations to the site but all work is now finished and the structure looks great.
